Let the culture flow...

I was just going through my enormous pile of unread e-mail and I came across an awesome discovery... Designed by Wajid Ali and his team of decorators, the tram comes complete with vibrant colours, many un-connected paintings, beads and tassels and the lovely one-liners. It was a totally new experience for the Melbourne residents and they love it (or so I am told).
What struck me the most was that so many Pakistani natives do not like the vibrant transport facility, many of the elite class. But i daresay it has become a signature part of our culture and style and it showcases the true colours of Pakistan. I've known Pakistan to be the most colourful country of all and it signifies the people to be happy people by nature. I love the silly shair o shairi and one liners at the back of our buses and rickshaws, I love the overly done decorations and the paintings of birds, eyes and hijabi women. It all is the part of our culture that I would like my future generations to see and hold close to their hearts...

Wajid Ali and his team have done a wonderful job at spreading a beautiful image of Pakistan. We have long been tarnished by the stories of terrorist attacks, corruption, poverty and honour killing. I think it is time we start to spread the talent of beauty, hospitality and compassion. Be proud of who you are!

About Me

My photo
I'm mind full of explosions of peace, colours of youth and the sounds of the silence. My only hope is to rest my conscience and the multiple contradictions of thought.. :) What can i say... I am the dormant maniac.
